Privacy Policy

This site is a personal project. I don't run ads, sell any data, or share personal information with third parties. This page explains what's collected and how it's used.

What is collected

• Gameplay stats — when you finish a game, the level played, the number of moves, and how long it took are saved in your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you choose to sign in and sync it (a feature that is planned but not yet live).
• Preferences — your light/dark theme choice and cookie-consent decision are stored in your browser's local storage.
• Standard server logs — the hosting platform (Microsoft Azure App Service) records basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamp, URL) for up to 30 days for reliability and security. These logs are not aggregated, analyzed, or shared.

Cookies and local storage

No tracking or advertising cookies are used. The following entries may be written to your browser's local storage:

• theme — your light/dark mode preference.
• cookie_consent — whether you accepted the cookie banner.
• concentration.guest_stats — your gameplay history on this device.

Third-party services

No third-party analytics, ad networks, or behavioral trackers are used.

If you choose to sign in, an OAuth flow with Google is used for identity. In that flow:

• Google learns that you're signing in to this site.
• I receive your email address, a stable subject identifier, whether your email is verified, and your display name. These are saved to the users table in Azure Table Storage so I can associate your gameplay records with you.
• I do not receive or store your Google password, and I don't request any scope beyond basic profile and email.

If you sign in and later want your account deleted, email admin@chrisclark.net.

Additional sign-in providers (Microsoft, etc.) may be added later; this page will be updated to list them.

Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal data held about you. Since the only data stored about you right now lives on your own device, you can clear it at any time with Clear stats in the stats panel, or by clearing your browser's local storage for this site.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, the updated date at the top of this page will change. Previous versions are visible in the site's git history.
